I was really struggling with my mask sucking up to my nose every time I breathed in. And the mask touching my face around my nose made me itchy and wanting to scratch. This insert really increases my comfort. I did my shopping today and was able to breath much better, and no itchiness. I don't wear lipstick, or makeup, so I can't say how well it would work for that. And the insert stays in place very well. I imagine if you wanted to, you could sew it into place, but I didn't find that it slipped at all. The tension of my mask keeps it in place. Lol, my husband says it looks like a mini jock-strap.

These silicone face mask inner support frames are brilliant! Thanks to these, it has become much easier to breathe through my usual dual mask setup when I go out for errands into crowded stores. The frame is soft yet rigid enough not to collapse on itself when the masks put pressure on it, leaves only a slight mark on the face after extended wear, and it's easy to rinse off with soap and water.
My 5-yo daughter loves it, too, because she doesn't have to feel the wetness of the mask which grosses her out.
